Using GoPros/Capture Card to broadcast

Kevin Sep 23, 2016 07:02PM EDT

I am attempting to use a GoPro Hero 3+ and a Diamond GC2000 (capture card) to broadcast my show, I'm not having much luck, and was wondering if anyone had any experience with this problem.

I am able to see the video feed through the proprietary Diamond software (GameShare), and it gives me the option to connect via RTMP. I'm able to get in-camera audio to stream, but no picture.

So I tried OBS window capture on the GameShare preview window. I'm able to see the borders of the preview window in the broadcast, but no video inside of it.

I've tried messing with the aspect ratio, the frame rate, the camera settings, the GC2000 settings, nothing is working. Is OBS/Concert Window just not able to handle a video feed from a GoPro? Does it sound like a hardware issue? What is the best method for using a GoPro as the broadcast camera?
