Hello! I've been searching, trying to find an answer to this question, and maybe it's just me, but I can't find an answer.
I have an 8 channel audio interface and a DAW - I would like to be able to run multiple channels (mics, guitars, keyboard, etc) and be able to mix them in the DAW and have that audio go out over the broadcast stream. So far, only whatever is plugged into channel 1 goes out over the broadcast no matter how I route my audio in/through the DAW. I would like to get better audio than simply 1 mic in the middle of the room for everything, but can't figure out how.
Do I need a separate mixing console plugged into channel 1 and premixed? Hope not :(
Thanks in Advance!
PS - really looking forward to my first streaming concert!
We have had several users with various DAW setups run into similar issues with multi-channel audio. The limitation is likely with the Flash web broadcaster.
An alternative, which requires a bit more setup but is ultimately more flexible, is to use software like FMLE or Open Broadcaster (https://obsproject.com/) and combine the inputs that way, and then send the stream to CW via RTMP (rather than through the Flash broadcaster). This also allows you to get creative with multiple cameras, etc.

I hope that helps!
