how early can I start streaming

Michael Laechel Mar 12, 2019 09:17PM EDT

Last Friday night I was all ready for my gig. Did tests throughout the week and that worked perfect. Once I went to Stream Live on Chrome my fans saw Show Starting Soon for 2 hours. I played a 2 hour set for nothing. I would like to turn the show on live like 30 minutes before the show to make sure it is working for this Friday nights gig on 3/15/19 at 7:30. Last weeks show was the same time. Not sure if you were having issues with your site. I would love to click Broadcast Now for a few minutes to make sure this works. The tests work fine. I am just worried about this Friday's show. How early can I do a LIVE REAL BROADCAST? To make sure I am good. At show time, 1 day before, 1 hour before...ect. Thank you.

Hi Michael,

It sounds like you didn’t actually toggle from Test mode to Live mode. We recommend not going live more than 20 or 30 minutes before the show starts. Viewers can often get confused if they log in and don’t see or hear anything.
