VMix and Concert Window

Don Miller Feb 08, 2016 02:02PM EST

Currently I am using Ustream to broadcast our live shows. I have heard about Concert Window and I plan on switching over. I am using Vmix to control all our cameras and control audio. The help desk here says go to your broadcast window to get the information needed for Vmix. The problem I have is I cant find a broadcast window here to get details.I am sure I can configure Vmix for RTMP broadcasting but if I cant get find the info how do I do it.

Great. Yes. How are you currently broadcasting to Ustream — RTMP?

To broadcast to Concert Window via RTMP, first create a show on Concert Window, then you’ll see the Broadcast page. On that page you can copy RTMP information to paste into VMix.

Thanks I did figured that out. I am still having trouble broadcasting. In Vmix I placed RTMP information in the right spots and I get an error saying it is not a valid stream. What size should the stream window be set to? Do I need the Adobe plugin installed? Thanks.

hi Don, I’m not sure as I’ve never worked with VMix. You could try encoding via Open Broadcaster Software or Flash Media Live Encoder — lots of folks have success with those programs.

I am using FFMPEG the message I get from vMix is as follows: [RTMP@01997fe0] Server error:[403] Invalid System Do you understand this error?

Hmm. I don’t think FFMPeg is compatible with live streaming via RTMP…
