audio is absent in the broadcast

Moon Spark Feb 02, 2016 05:10PM EST

I am having difficulties with the audio setup. I play (a different kind of)online shows a lot so I know the basic settings to broadcast my sound through my computer. My audio is visual and working in my windows settings/sound card. Also my stream broadcaster is picking up everything it needs to.

Now when I get to the broadcaster and I click accept on the flash using my webcam (which works without a soundinput), nothing audible comes through in the broadcast or in the audio level meter integrated in the broadcaster, only the option to choose the audio input which seems to be correct and even responding to the changes I make when I was looking for the problem.

My gut feeling tells me it gets blocked somehow. I made sure nothing is interfering on concert window like addblock, antivirus etc.

I have two options for audio input; 1. Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 2. the USB interface of my mixer (Allen&Heath zed12fx). Neither of those seem to get the audio in to the broadcast.

Today I planned a test broadcast (public) for tomorrow, cause I really though it was just going to be a simple soundcheck, finetuning the levels/balance. Do you have any idea what might be happening?

Many thanks in advance!

hiya Moon Spark, I’m watching your show now and it sounds great, so I’m assuming you figured it out? What did you end up using?
